     a. Billing operations are not put on hold as staff take vacations and sick leave.
     b. More than 1 staff member will be trained on your office protocols and billing procedures for your specific practice so your billing is always filed in a timely manner.
     c. Emerald NW has a solid support network of billers available if
needed.

    a. An hourly wage can result in a slower work speed which means the practice may pay for more hours than necessary.  A set monthly payment incentivizes the biller to be accurate and quick to limit time to what is necessary to get the job done correctly.

write-offs. Utilizing this billing service allows staff  to direct any write-off requests to an outside biller who can more easily follow the financial protocols that are set in place.

    a. The billing service is open Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) so the patient does not have to “catch” the biller during part-time office hours.
    b. Confidential voicemail will allow the patients to leave detailed
